BIO
I was born in and have spent my entire life in Erie.
I have been in the psychology field for 15 years. I have extensive experience completing psychological evaluations and behavioral health assessments. I hold a special interest in the area of diagnosis and assessment. I have been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania for 11 years.
I am a professional, responsible individual who takes great pride in my work. I am respectful to clients in their treatment. My preferred treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy.
I find value in participating in a practice that offers a wide range of treatment modalities to serve our clients. I enjoy working within a practice where the medication management provider can work directly with the therapist.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing hockey which has been a passion of mine for many years. I played the sport at a competitive level throughout my lifetime. I also enjoy cycling at Presque Isle and enjoy walking around the beautiful bayfront. Additionally, I am a competitive chess player who has been studying the game for more than 25 years.
I am inspired by clients who put forth effort into their treatment and show the necessary motivation to make the difficult changes in their life. I am also inspired by the stories of regular people who fight through their mental health needs on a daily basis.
